Lazy Bear Lodge is located on the edge of beautiful Valle Crucis, just 1 ½ miles from the historic Mast General Store. Fifteen minutes from Blowing Rock & the Blue Ridge Parkway, and five minutes from Boone, the Lazy Bear Lodge is central to all events and activities, yet private and secluded as you expect of a mountain retreat. Located on a paved driveway, the lodge is easy to get to in all weather.

From Charlotte & Hickory: Follow US 321 north through Blowing Rock to Boone. At the intersection of US 321 and NC 105 (two-story Wendy's on left, BB&T diagonally right), turn left onto NC 105 South and follow it to Broadstone Rd. Turn right onto Broadstone and proceed 2.2 miles toward Valle Crucis and turn right onto Dewitt Barnett. Go across the wooden bridge over Watauga River and continue approximately 1.1 miles to the entrance to the Lodge. The entrance will be on your left side and is marked with a street sign labeled "Lazy Bear Trail" and our business sign. From Winston Salem: Follow US 421 west to Boone. Turn left onto NC 105 South and follow it to Broadstone Rd. Turn right onto Broadstone and proceed 2.2 miles toward Valle Crucis and turn right onto Dewitt Barnett. Go across the wooden bridge over Watauga River and continue approximately 1.1 miles to the entrance to the Lodge. The entrance will be on your left side and is marked with a street sign labeled "Lazy Bear Trail" and our business sign. From Banner Elk: Take NC 105 North to Broadstone Rd. Turn left onto Broadstone and proceed 2.2 miles toward Valle Crucis and turn right onto Dewitt Barnett.
