historic Valle Crucis in the North Carolina High Country,
minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and Blowing Rock, our
log Bed and Breakfast mountain retreat was built from the ground
up with you in mind. A quiet and secluded setting, Lazy Bear
Lodge Bed and Breakfast is located on a paved road, 1 ½ miles
from the Historic Mast General Store.
The two-story log bed and breakfast has large comfortable
porches, sweeping views and plenty of privacy. The relaxing
front porch overlooks a private garden area and is just a few
feet from convenient parking. From the 2 ½ story living room, a
wide deck loaded with Adirondack furniture overlooks beautiful
mountains and valleys.
 We
have 5 private guest bedrooms, each with private bath and a
fantastic view. Each bedroom is unique: roomy and furnished with
hand-picked antiques or handmade furniture, comfortable seating,
and gas-fired fireplaces or stoves.
Our restaurant is open Saturday nights based on advanced guest
request. The menu offers a four course meal: appetizers, salad,
and entrée with seasonal vegetables, dessert and beverage.

 Serenity Spa Room
Enjoy
the serenity of the mountains, melt away your tensions and
soothe all your senses by a licensed therapist in our private
Serenity Spa Room. Select one or more from our seven different
massages with all the pampering you deserve. The spa has heated
massage tables, private changing area, luxurious robes, calming
music, and heavenly heated lotions or customs oils. Choose the
type of massage, lotions or oil that's just right for you. See
our massage page for a description of spa services and find the
perfect pampering you need.
We are dedicated to making your stay memorable. We
will gladly make reservations in your name for dinner at the
best dining spots and for local events and activities, or
arrange special services such as flowers in your room upon
arrival.
